Coach AI is a web-based fitness coaching platform that delivers personalized workout recommendations through an AI chat interface. The product struggled with low engagement and retention due to complex user flows, unclear onboarding, and a fragmented interaction with the AI coach.
I started with a UX audit and user research to identify key friction points, then led a full product redesign in Figma. The scope included restructuring information architecture, simplifying onboarding, and redesigning core user flows to make interactions with the AI coach more intuitive, predictable, and goal-oriented.

Through iterative usability testing and close collaboration with stakeholders, the redesigned experience reduced cognitive load, clarified progress tracking, and improved accessibility across the product.
As a result, the platform saw higher daily active usage, reduced drop-off during onboarding, and improved retention, with users engaging more consistently with the AI coach and maintaining healthier workout routines over time.
