The Shift App is a mindfulness and meditation platform focused on helping users build consistent mental wellness habits.
The project was a full product redesign aimed at repositioning the app for a younger audience (ages 22–35), improving engagement, and strengthening long-term retention.
I led the redesign end-to-end as Lead UX/UI Designer, owning product direction, UX strategy, and UI execution. I worked closely with a small design team and collaborated daily with developers to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation.
To support the new positioning, we introduced gamification mechanics and live streaming features, including Journeys — structured, goal-oriented programs that guide users through consistent practice. The UI was fully modernized to improve clarity, accessibility, and overall usability.
